Don’t let you or your clients’ technology insurance become obsolete
Enhanced technology products have been designed specifically for the electronics manufacturing & assembly and the IT & communications sectors and offer a range of benefits that may not be available from some insurers.
These include protection from business critical threats, such as 1st and 3rd party cyber-crime (extended to include costs associated with data security breaches), breach of intellectual property rights and automatic worldwide jurisdiction, including North America.
When you get through to your insurer and they are able to appoint a loss adjuster working on their behalf, will you know what you can and can’t claim for ?
Relax, help is at hand. Real Insurance Solutions work with Lorega who are the UK’s leading claims expert, independently acting for the policyholder.
Lorega delivers this service through Loss Recovery Insurance, an insurance policy which provides and pays for the cost of an expert loss adjuster to help you prepare, negotiate and settle your property damage and business interruption claims.
New claims reporting deadlines
The Ministry of Justice Reforms, which have resulted in changes to the Civil Procedure Rules, took effect from 31st July 2013.
These are fundamental changes aimed predominantly at reducing the cost of personal injury litigation on Employers Liability (EL) and Public Liability (PL) claims with a value up to £25,000. These cost savings will be facilitated by the extension of the online claims portal which has been used for low value motor injury claims since April 2010.
